Iron Road Erzberg
Die Tage zwei und drei des Erzberg Rodeos standen ganz im Zeichen des Iron Road Prologes, der eigentlich schon lange unter eigener Flagge (Vorschlag: Speed Event) zu führen wäre. Es ist zwar immer noch die Qualifikation zum Hare Scramble, aber mit den dicken Brummern, den Zweizylinder-Werksmotorrädern von KTM und BMW, ist hier mittlerweile genügend Spannung drin, um als eigenes Rennen ernst genommen zu werden.

Koenigsklasse Erzberg
Der schnelle Report, direkt aus dem BMW Zelt, Teil 1: Heute war der Tag des Donners, die Königsklasse des Erzberg Offroad Events 2006. Also heftige Enduros mit 2 oder mehr Zylindern. Sonst keiner. Was als nette Erweiterung zum Event für Tourenfahrer begann, spitzte sich seit letztem Jahr zu einem absoluten Gipfeltreffen der Werksteams von BMW und KTM zu.

Repeat-Victory at Stunt Euro Champs Round 2, Hungary
As well as at the first round of this year’s European Stuntriding Championships in Assen, I again have manged to come first at this second round, held in Kaposvar, Hungary last weekend. Second place went to Hungarian up-and-coming local Zoltan Angyal ahead of World Champ 2004, Humberto Ribeiro from Portugal.

Victory at the 1st round of the European Stuntriding Champs 06
Europe’s best Streetbike Freestylers gathered in Assen, Netherlands, to hold the first of total three contests determining the European Champion 2006. Of course, I’ve been at the starting line, too.
This has been my first ever contest-appearance on the BMW F800 and even though I’ve been slightly ill, I’ve managed to take the win ahead of Portuguese rider Humberto Ribeiro.
