I’ve managed to win all three rounds of the contest and made it a crystal clear decision.

In my first run I’ve almost wanted too much, went for it in very aggressive way and almost over-did it while performing a very dynamic donut. Right after that, my engines all of a sudden stalled because I unintentionally touched the bikes’ side stand, as I got told afterwards. This has never ever happened to me before. But without losing neither balance, not nerves, I’ve managed to restart while rolling and continue my run. Result after round one: 5 points lead over Bart.

In my second run, really everything went smooth and I was more than happy with my tricks and the speed i’ve managed to show them. I increased my lead to 27 points, a nice gap for the final run. Also in the last run everything went smooth again and I ended up with a total lead of 46 points over Zoltan and Bart. The latter has made it to a podium his first time ever at an international competition and he really deserved it.

From place 4 on downwards, a lot of young French riders ended up, all they are missing is a little more routine for the podium. It’s almost incredible how the sport is booming in France right now and how fast and creative those guys have developed.
The best sport ever - Stuntriding - appears to be THE hype in France right now, just as skateboarding and BMX used to be. I now wonder even more when something like this hype will finally kick off in Germany, at last.

By the way: We’ve all badly missed AC Farias this weekend. AC, the mother of Stunting, is in a hospital, suffering from a broken leg after having crashed hard last week and he has declared his resignation from the active part of the sport. I still hope he’ll remain connected to us in some way or the other, but anyway: Get well soon, brother!
